Start-up Works of Coal Terminal in Caofeidian Port Complex Comes into Formal Operation
The start-up works of Coal Terminal in Caofeidian Port Complex of Tangshan Port, which had been undertaken and executed by CCCC-FHEC, was preliminarily inspected and accepted and was put into operation recently.
The start-up works of the coal terminal includes two 100000 dwt berths, one 70000 dwt berth, one 50000 dwt berth and one 70000 dwt transitional berth with a total yearly throughput of 50,000,000 tons.
The Coal Terminal, one of the four specialized terminals in Caofeidian Port Complex, is an important coal-transportation passage for Datong-Qinhuangdao Railway and will become the biggest coal transit terminal in the country with its overall completion and operation. (Zhao Li)
