Results of Thematic Study on HongKong–Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Engineering Project Accepted and Approved by Experts
The thematic study on anti-wave design for non-navigable arch bridge connecting the east and the west man-made islands of the Island and Tunnel Works of HongKong - Zhuhai - Macau Bridge was reviewed and accepted by experts at a seminar organized by HongKong - Zhuhai – Macau Bridge Administration on 10 July 2012. Xie Shileng, an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Su Quanke, Chief Engineer of HongKong - Zhuhai – Macau Bridge Administration, as well as a number of experts and specialists in the engineering field attended the seminar.
This is one of the series of studies on the design and construction of the island and tunnel works of the general contracted HongKong – Zhuhai – Macau Bridge Works.
The comprehensiveness of the study, the correct technical guidelines and rational study methods used for the study and the reliable conclusions from the study won confirmation of the experts and specialists present at the seminar, which provide significant basis for the design companies to carry on their design works.
