CCCC - FHEC was awarded the contract for the construction of Phase I of Training Works for Deep Water Waterways of 12.5 m in Downstream Changjiang River from Nanjing on August 27, 2012.

Phase I of the Training Works includes four contract packages and CCCC-FHEC was awarded to construct the training works constituting the second contract package, which will be 9130 m long from Tongzhou Sandbank to Baimao Sandbank Between Taicang and Nantong along the Changjiang River. The project site will be about 250 km from Nanjing in the upper reach of the Changjiang River and about 80 km to Shanghai in the lower reach of the Changjiang River, and about 5000 m to Nantong City of Jiangsu Province on the left bank of the Changjiang River and about 8000 m to Changshu City of Jiangsu Province on the right bank of the Changjiang River.

The scope of the training works will include a submerged breakwater between Tongzhou Sandbank and Langshan Sandbank, a submerged breakwater at the tail of Langshan Sandbank, Spur Dike T7, Spur Dike T8, necessary navigational aids for the construction period and the operation of the waterways, and any other works required for execution and completion of the above training works.
