Skippers of Working Vessels of CCCC Met in Qingdao for Experience Exchange

Sponsored by the Capital Construction Division of China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) and organized by CCCC – First Harbour Engineering Company Limited, the first conference for working vessel skippers to exchange their working experience was successfully held in Qingdao, Shandong, between 13^th and 15^th of September of 2012.

Jiang Lin, Deputy General Manager of the CCCC - Capital Construction Division, attended the conference and spoke at the conference. Zhang Rong, Head of CCCC’s Vessel & Machinery Department, and Huang Xiaoming, Deputy Head of CCCC’s Vessel & Machinery Department, as well as heads and managers of vessel and machinery departments of CCCC’s first, second, third and fourth harbour engineering companies were present at the conference. Twenty-one papers on management of engineering vessels were presented to the conference and sixteen skippers spoke at the conference to brief the audience on their experience in the management of pile driving vessels, floating cranes and sand compaction piling barges.

This conference has set up a platform for the entities under CCCC to exchange their views and experience in management of engineering vessels so as to overall improve the level of management of engineering vessels.()
