Hangzhou Bay Sea-crossing Bridge works starts from Zhengjiali in Haiyan County, spanning over Hangzhou Bay and its south shoal, and ends at Shuiluwan in Cixi City, with a total length of 36km. bridge length across the sea is about 31.5km.
The works include 1560nos marine pile installation, 126nos of which are Φ1500 and 1434nos of which areΦ1600. Concrete pile caps are 152nos, while 129nos are of 12m in diameter and 3m in height, and 9nos are of 10.8m in width, 23.825m in length and 3m in height, and 14nos are of 10.5m in diameter and 3m in height. Cast-insitu concrete is 85847m³, while 48634m³ concrete is cast for platform and 37213 m³ concrete for piles.
The project was awarded of 2008 Ningbo Municipal Yongjiang Trophy Prize and 2009 Zhejiang Provincial Qianjiang Trophy Prize
