Tianjin Port Beida Breakwater Works (Phase I)
Beida Breakwater Project (Phase I) consists of eastside external and south side external dike in a total length of 6.4km. Main structure of the works is RC semi-cylinder type with a max. weight of 187t. The contract duration was from Jun. 26th 2002 to Aug. 28th 2003.
Tianjin Port Beida Breakwater Works (Phase II) – East External Dike project
The total length of the works is 4.3km, and main structure is RC semi-cylinder type components. North end of the dike is composed of 6t interlocking blocks. Foundation consolidation is achieved by plastic dewatering sheet installation. Project area OGL is -1.6m~ -0.4m. Foundation structure and construction method is similar to those of Phase I. The contract duration was from Sept. 12th 2003 to Sept. 15th 2004.
Phase I was awarded of 2003 FHEC Excellent Works Prize and Phase II was awarded of 2004 FHEC Excellent Works Prize, 2005 CCCC Excellent Works Prize as well as 2005 State Communication Department Excellent Works Prize.
