The project includes one 200000DWt berth with a water depth of -20m. Designed annual ship loading capacity is 17000000.DWT. marine works include a 186m long guide dike, a 616m trestle, and a 40X40m platform. The total quay length is 498m. Wharf structure is large scale cylinder shape caisson type. Totally 19nos cylinder caisson of 3200t are fabricated and installed. The maximum caisson diameter is 18m, and the maximum height is 24.5m. Single span of the steel trestle is 84m with a weight of 490t.
The project was awarded of the title of national excellent civil works.
