The project consists of guide jetty, trestle and berth in an open water area. The main structure of the terminal is arranged in a butterfly shape. The guide jetty is 373m long and the approach bridge is 585m long. The designed front water depth is -25m. The annual output capacity is 23000000t, which is the largest crude oil terminal in China at that time.
The project was awarded of National Silver Prize for Excellent Works in 2007.
